A Winter Wonderland!

We got about 5 inches of snow this week! Will is now able to say snow and a ton of other words! He is nonsense talking all the time and every now and then Chad and I can decipher what he is trying to communicate. He is finally back to himself after recovering from two separate ear infections. We were starting to worry that the terrible two's were in full effect. Turns out they are still just in their beginning stage!

Anyway, Will loved the snow and sledding down our street. Our street looks gorgeous in the snow because the colors of the houses just pop!

Seven more weeks until baby #2 is due!! I will post pictures of the bump soon.

I'm a growing boy!!

Will had his 18 month check up last week.... and the results are in. He's 29 lbs still. He hasn't gained any weight since his 15 month check up, but he's grown 3 inches (he's now 35 1/2 inches tall)!! He's getting his "I" teeth which could explain his general demeanor right now. ..HARD TO PLEASE! He's growing up so much though. He will now sit down and let us read entire books and I can tell he is starting to memorize the pages of his favorite books because he will laugh or fake cry on certain pages depending on what happens! In Knuffle Bunny he will cry when Trixie loses her Knuffle Bunny!! It is adorable.

He's totally into Christmas lights which makes driving in the car at night or on the way to school so entertaining for us! He makes Ooohs and ahhhs at all the pretty lights and even says "pretty" if it's really impressive!!

ADORABLE!!! LOVE HIM TOO MUCH!
I think he's inherited my flare for drama and Chad's charming personality! Check out the video below!

Thanksgiving in T'ville

We spent Thanksgiving in Thomasville, Georgia. It has been almost a year since Will has seen his great grandparents and cousins on my side. He had a blast. He was totally in his element because most of our activities were outdoors! He went on a hayride on Thanksgiving day and saw all sorts of animals. He also got to play a lot with Addison and Ella. I wish we lived closer to them. They are darling and SWEET little girls. Good Job, Kudder!! Enjoy the pictures... We had fun taking them!

Autumn in the Nati!

Everyday gets a little more fun with our little man! Today we went to Burger Farm's Pumpkin Patch. He, as usual, was all over the place and couldn't get enough exploring! We got a 29 pound pumpkin (same weight as Will!) and a couple other little pumpkins. One in honor of the growing pumpkin in my belly!! I am 20 weeks now, so Will's brother or sister is 20 weeks from arriving. It is hard to believe we will be a family of four in just a few months! Enjoy the pictures!!

Trouble just always seems to find me...

Anyone who's met Will knows that he marches to the beat of his own drummer. He's in to doing just about whatever looks like it would be fun. That is what is so lovable and special about him, but that is also what keeps us chasing him non-stop! Some of his latest scandals include unrolling toilet paper rolls, lifting the dining room air vent and getting in, unrolling the entire roll of aluminum foil, climbing in the toilet, dumping the dog's water over and lapping it up off the ground like a puppy, tasting his own poop (yeah, I know, I almost left that one out, but I couldn't resist!), and most recently he is interested in climbing in Boo's food storage bin and throwing his food all over the kitchen. The proof follows!

August fun in the sun!

I have been such a slacker with Will's blog this summer! We've had so much fun playing with him. He changes on a daily basis. It is so hard to believe that he's already 15 months, but on the other hand, it is even harder to believe that he will only be 21 months when his baby brother or sister arrive this February. Here are some highlights from the summer! Hope you enjoy...

Jess and Kaitlyn Visit the Nati

On Monday, Jess and Kaitlyn arrived from Maryland to stay for a few days. We had a ball. Jess is my college roomate and one of my best friends in the world. It was so awesome to get our kids together for the first time. I haven't see Kaitlyn in 2 years. My has she changed! She is full of personality and gorgeous like her mom! Next time Mo and Christian will have to join us.

While they were here we went to the Cinci Zoo, Bunny and Jack's house, Woodland Mound's Spray Park, Ault Park and of course, shopping! I think Kaitlyn and Will like the spray park the best. They got along fabulously. Can't wait to see them together again soon! I hope they are lifelong friends like Jess and me....

Enjoy the slideshow!

Summer Time!

Will has done a lot of fun things this summer. He went to the splash park in June with Jake and Natalie. He LOVED it, well it did have water you know! We also went to see Will's great grandparents in Door County. He was the center of attention! Here are some pics of our summer adventures!

Children's Museum

Will hung out with a new buddy at the Children's Museum a few weeks ago. His name is Jack and he's a week older than Will. He had to teach him a few things like how to walk and how to drive a jeep! Jack's dad Casey is an old friend from high school. He gets to stay at home with Jack now! Lucky dog...

Birthday Boy

It is so hard to believe we have been blessed with Will for a year now. He is the greatest gift we have ever received. I just don't know what we did to deserve such an awesome little boy. So much has happened this year. I think we have blogged about the major milestones. While no amount pictures or words can sum up how incredible Will is to us, I do love having our little blog.

For Will's first birthday we had a party at mom and dad's house. The theme was "Party Like A Rockstar." Will was in true Rockstar form as you will see from his pictures. He busted his lip and got blood all over his shirt. This is in addition to the the gash he had on his face from Honey! He looks pretty beat up. He partied hardy! Thanks to everyone for coming!

Has it seriously been a year since I looked like this? This is a picture from the night I went into labor at Erin and Trevor's house. Will was born the next morning and Erin had Tucker a week later!

Will and Tucker are big boys now!

Zoo Time

Chad and Will took me to the zoo for my first Mother's Day. Will loved it. He's been to the zoo before, but this was our first trip as a family. I have such sweet boys. We can't wait to make many more trips to the zoo this summer. Chad is going to Kenya through a partnership between the Cincinnati Zoo and Miami University this summer. Maybe Will will follow in his daddy's footsteps and share a love for wildlife and travel.

Giddy Up

Bunny treated Will to his first pony ride while we were visiting Aunt Lizzie at the market. He loved it. I think he liked pulling the pony's mane the most. I didn't mind. It gave my hair a break!

Will's Second Home... Charleston

For spring break mom, Will and I headed to Charleston...AGAIN! As usual we had a blast. Liz had her first Saturday at the Farmer's Market with Urbane Living, her new line of baby clothes, burb cloths, bibs, and other baby essentials. She did great and never ceases to amaze me with her talent and ideas. We were all so proud of her. We also saw some old friends in Charleston. We went to the park one day with Chanda, Tristan, Trevor, Carrie and Lana. Will is getting soooo big. Where did my bebe go?
