My Great Grandparents

Will has the privilege of having 5 great-grandparents. In late May, just a few days after he was born, Cissy and Grandpa came to visit. They loved meeting our new bundle of joy! Will saw them just 6 weeks later when we made our first road trip to Door County!

I am a swimmer like mommy!

William went swimming with his friends today at Lyndsey's pool. He swam with Tucker, Mackenzie, and Alex. It was his first time in the pool and I can't say how he felt about it either way! He neither loved nor hated it! His swimsuit matched his daddy's! Loves it!

Tucker and Me

I already have a couple of friends. Here is one of my friends, Tucker (right). He was born one week after me! So, I guess that makes me older and wiser :) He has a cool older brother named Jack. All three of us will play one of these days.

In mid June, we made our first trip to Chad's home town for a wedding and a visit with his family. Will was great! He had formula for the first time and slept like a champ for Grandma Barb. We were able to enjoy a night out by ourselves. Our first one in a month!

My First Bath

Mommy was able to give me a bath within a week of my birth. I did not care for it too much! Luckily, I am growing to love it and enjoy kicking around in the water as well! Maybe I will be a water polo player like mommy after all!

Introducing William Michael Huelsman

William Michael Huelsman was born May 18, 2008 at 7:50 am. He was 21 inches long and 8lb 9 oz in weight. We waited to find out the sex, so you can imagine our delight to finally find out after so many months of wondering the gender of our baby.

Will is a blessing in so many ways and has been such an easy baby since the beginning. I had a great pregnancy, delivery, and now a beautiful and calm baby! I feel so lucky... but can't help feeling what did I do to deserve him or is the next baby going to be a pay back!!
